Health for Mom
It is time to take care of yourself!

The health for mom is sometimes lost in the first couple months to years when much of the focus is on the baby. Many times new moms forget to shower and eat, let alone exercise or take time for themselves.
It is time to take care of the mommies of the world...these pages are for YOU!

Post Partum Nutrition

Post partum nutrition is very improtant for your healing and for the nutrition in the breastmilk.
I know you are tired, I have been there, BUT you NEED to EAT!

I remember there were days when it would get to 1pm and I would look at the clock and ask myself, "have I eaten today?" well let me tell you this, if you have to ask yourself this question then the answer is going to be, "NO"

So what is the solution to improve health for mom?

Develop a system and ask for help!

My system was this, it may not work for everyone but it is a suggestion.
Every morning before going to work my husband would make be a protein rich smoothie and leave it in the refrigerator. This way, when I would wake up it would be ready for me. I could drink it while nursing the baby, while on a morning walk, or while working around the house. It was perfect.
